Family Court focuses special attention on individual and social problems concerning families and children. Consequently, its goals are to assist, to protect, and if possible, to restore families whose unity or well-being is threatened District Court handle cases regarding Administrative Appeals, Civil, Criminal, Landlord/Tenant, Small Claims, and Veterans Treatment. Superior Court is comprised of twenty-two (22) judges and five (5) magistrates. It is the forum for jury and non-jury trials of both civil and criminal matters. Serves residents of Coventry, Cranston, East Greenwich, Foster, Johnston, Glocester, Lincoln, North Kingstown, North Providence, North Smithfield, Scituate, Smithfield, Warwick, West Greenwich, and West Warwick.
