All dogs over 6 months must have a license in North Kingstown. It must be renewed each year in April, to get a license you must provide proof ob up to date rabies shots.

Application process
To Adopt: You must have permission from your landlord if you do not own your home. You will need to answer a few questions and pay a fee. The animal will be spayed or neutered, and part of the fee will be refunded.
Fees
The first offense if an animal is picked up and does not have a license is $25; second offense $200; third offense $500.
The adoption fee is $25. When the animal is spayed or neutered, $20 will be refunded
