Description

The Cumberland Preschool provides an integrated setting for children with special needs as well as those typically developing. The children are working to overcome developmental delay, physical impairment, speech delays and autism. Typically developing children benefit from highly skilled teachers, an environment that fosters strong social skills as well as an educational curriculum aligned to the Rhode Island Early Learning Standards. Child Outreach is a free service offered to all children 3 to 5 years old. Child Outreach provides information about your child’s development and resources that are available within your community. It can also help identify children who may need further assessment, intervention and/ or services at an early age to promote positive outcomes in kindergarten and beyond.
