Brain Injury Association of America
The Mission of BIAA is to advance awareness, research, treatment, and education and to improve the quality of life for all people affected by brain injury. Their vision is to have everyone in the U.S. who sustains a brain injury is diagnosed, treated, and accepted. BIAA encourages individuals with brain injury and their family members to participate in meaningful ways while welcoming the involvement of researchers, clinicians and other professionals as we pursue BIAA’s mission with urgency and excellence. BIAA provides brain injury information on their website, connects people to specialists in the field, provides local support groups for those who would like to share their experiences, and advocates for those with brain injuries in public policy.
