LeadingAge Rhode Island (LARI) was founded in 1989 as a not-for-profit membership organization comprised of not-for-profit providers of aging services. Their diverse membership includes not-for-profit nursing homes, assisted living residences, home health agencies, senior housing providers, as well as adult day services. LeadingAge RI is committed to “Expanding the World of Possibilities for Aging.” As such, LeadingAge RI will continue its mission of advancing excellence in the field by fostering innovation, collaboration, and ethical leadership; advocating for sound public policy; providing education, collaboration, and professional development; valuing older people and their right to make choices; and promoting a continuum of services. Provides Information to the general public regarding aging and disability resources including nursing facilities, assisted living, senior housing and Adult day centers.
