Description

Healthy eating is not only about choosing nutritious foods, but also about eating foods that are manufactured and prepared safely. Foodborne illness can be prevented at home and in restaurants by following a few simple steps. Services: Inspects all establishments that serve or provide food to the public to ensure the distribution of quality, unadulterated food products. Protects the public against misbranding and deceptive advertising; tests private drinking water wells suspected of contamination by toxic substances; helps eliminate sanitation problems threatening public health.
