It is the mission of the Jamestown Police Department to protect and provide for the safety of the general public, enforce the laws of the State of Rhode Island and the Ordinances of the Town of Jamestown, create a proactive partnership with the residents of the Town of Jamestown that best serve the needs of the community, and to attain a high quality of life for all. The Department seeks to work with the citizens of the Town of Jamestown to solve the problems facing the community.
