To screen all newborns in Rhode Island for metabolic, endocrine, hemoglobin, hearing, developmental, and other conditions to identify and treat these conditions as early as possible, prevent death and disability, and enable children to reach their full potential. What we do Support systems and services for children with hearing loss. Continue to screen 100% of newborns annually. Ongoing monitoring the number of follow-up forms completed by the diagnostic clinics in KIDSNET.
