Description
Program within the RI Parent Information Network. Services families that have children with special health care needs. Connect with parents that have children with special health care needs. Free workshops covering advocacy, medicaid, and group facilitation. Resource guide, and peer support groups offered. Provides health care information, family to family support and leadership development for families of children with special health care needs. Family Voices aims to achieve family-centered care for all children and youth with special health care needs and/or disabilities. Through this national network, Family Voices provides families tools to make informed decisions, advocates for improved public and private policies, builds partnerships among professionals and families serves as a trusted resource on health care.
