A statewide, nonprofit agency that provides information, training, support and advocacy to parents seeking help for their children. RIPIN offers eleven programs and services to families with children in Rhode Island, including families of children with special needs: -Special education and supports -Specialized services for children and young adults with disabilities -Healthcare and health insurance -Health education training, support, and resources -Special education and supports -Specialized services for children and young adults with disabilities -Healthcare and health insurance -Health education training, support, and resources Programs include: - Parent Consultant & Family Health Parent Consultant Programs - Family Voices Network - Parent Information and Resource Center (PIRC) - Parent Training and Information Center (PTIC) - Father and Family Network of Rhode Island Support groups: - Families of Children with Special Health Care Needs - aka "The Circle of Parents Support Group" First Monday of each month, 10:00AM-11:30AM CNDC in the George Clinic at Rhode Island Hospital 593 Eddy Street, Providence Spanish Speakers- Last Thursday of each month, 10:30AM-12:00PM Solutions CEDARR conference room at Family Service 134 Thurbers Avenue, Providence Spanish Speakers- First Wednesday of each month, 5:00PM-6:30PM RIPIN' s conference room 175 Main Street, Pawtucket Young Mom' s Club- Last Thursday of each month, 5:00PM-6:30PM Meeting place moves each month.
