Trained cancer information specialists are available 24/7 to answer questions about cancer and to link callers with resources in their communities.
American Cancer Society Programs and Services: Support groups and support services, referrals to assist with medication, financial, emergency housing, burial, legal and emergency issues, patient transportation.
Cancer Support Groups: Man-To-Man-Prostate Group, first Wednesday of every month at 6:30PM, Comprehensive Cancer Center, APC Building, 1st floor, 593 Eddy Street, Providence.
Reach To Recovery-Breast cancer one-on-one support program for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients.
Road To Recovery-Volunteer program that provides rides or assists cancer patients with resources for rides to their cancer treatment.
Services include: referral for cancer patients, equipment, transportation and a summer camp for children and siblings.
