Federally qualified Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) for employees who live or work in United Health Care's service area. Provides for personal, comprehensive health care coverage with a wide choice of participating physicians, hospitals, laboratories and pharmacies located in Rhode Island, Southeastern and Central Massachusetts. The UnitedHealthcare Rhody Community Plan provides health insurance to members of the state of Rhode Island's Rhody Health Partners Program. UHC works with members of the community 21 and over who qualify for Medicaid coverage. UHC cooridinates with members and their doctors personally to arrange their healthcare. Adults on SSI that are part of Rhody Health Partners Program have access to the large network of doctors, specialists, hospitals and other health care providers that are part of the UnitedHealthcare of New England network.
