Description
Senior Center that offers a variety of classes, programming, performances and club activities. Core programming includes information and referrals, health and wellness, social interaction, artistic expression and movement. The Newport Senior Center at the Edward King House provides an active and enriching environment in a warm, welcoming, attractive setting for residents of Newport County fifty years of age or older. Membership (for 2024-25 is $30 for a fully year membership). This includes exercise classes, health and wellness workshops, various educational programs and social events. The center provides supportive services attuned to the diverse needs of today’s senior adult. They also have a meal program that runs Tuesday - Thursday at noon. Reservations are required.
