A Lifespan partner and a teaching hospital for The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Bradley Hospital has established itself as the national center for training and research in child and adolescent psychiatry. A Brown University affiliated psychiatric center providing care for infants, children, adolescents, young adults and their families. Services include a full range of mental health and special educational programs for children with emotional and/or developmental disabilities. Treatment is provided through a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric nurses, social workers, special education teachers, speech and language pathologists, pediatricians and milieu therapists. Services include stabilization, short-term treatment in a secure environment, 24 hour care in a less restrictive environment, partial hospitalization for children who can return home at night and in-home care. **Outpatient Services Director: Karyn Horowitz, MD Services: A full range of outpatient evaluation and treatment programs. Specialty areas include individual, family and group therapy, Attention Deficit Disorder, child neuropsychological assessment, school and learning problems, anxiety disorders, trauma adjustment, behavioral problems, depression and communication disorders.
