Description
They offer a variety of programs: - Fitness and Wellness Programs include yoga and chair yoga, zumba, tai chi, balance & beyond - Senior Meal Program - lunch is served in the Parkside Dining Room at the Senior/Community Center. Menus are available on line or available for pick up. Those unable to pay will not be turned away. Meals are also available for home-bound neighbors weekdays from Meals on Wheels. - Programs: the center offers card clubs such as cribbage and bridge, art classes (painting), informational workshops, lounge and reading room, as well as other programs. visiting nurse services, AARP tax program Feb-April. - A Senior Information Specialist and a Community Visiting Nurse are available to help with health and social service needs. - Volunteer Opportunities are also available. Membership to the Center is $10 for each calendar year (January 1 - December 31). They are required for all participants.
