Services: To promote and foster increased literacy in southwestern Rhode Island and southeastern Connecticut through free, student-centered, volunteer teaching of basic literacy, English as a second language, and other literacy programs, primarily to adults.

Free, confidential, one-to-one literacy tutoring in reading, writing and English to East Bay adults. We teach basic literacy skills, GED skills, and ESL (English as a Second Language) skills. Volunteers test and tutor students, serve on our board, maintain our mailing lists, man our computer lab and other tasks.
