Washington County Coalition for Children
A membership coalition of social service agencies, health providers, parents, legislators, town officials, volunteers, and others who advocate on behalf of the region's children. The group researches and publishes comprehensive town-by-town statistics on the well-being of County children, convenes monthly workshops for doctors and mental health professionals who care for children with behavioral health problems and developmental disabilities, promotes emotional literacy among 2nd graders through an annual bookmark design contest, organizes a holiday gift drive for teens with Casey's Grill & Bar in Wakefield and offers a free Behavioral Health directory and other resources on a regularly-updated website.
