Application process
Referrals are accepted from family members, physicians, service coordinators and other community partners working with families. To make a referral, contact Carol LaFrance. Fees
There are no out-of-pocket costs for families receiving Early Intervention. Funding is accessed through medical assistance, the state, and private health insurance.

The Groden Center Early Intervention Program (EIP) is for infants and toddlers with developmental concerns. The mission of the Groden Center Early Intervention Program (EIP) is to provide eligible infants and toddlers and their families the supports and services needed to improve outcomes written in the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). Eligibility indicates that the child has one or more developmental challenges or diagnostic conditions that are associated with developmental delays. Groden provides EI services in accordance with the Early Intervention Standards set forth by the Rhode Island Department of Human Services, the lead agency for EI in Rhode Island, and the RI Regulations that govern the statewide early intervention program. Groden provides these services in a caring, supportive and knowledgeable manner, respecting the dignity of each child and family enrolled in the program.
