Renaissance Project is a tax-credit project that renovated apartments on on Goddard Street. With this project, 30 units were completely rehabbed and transformed into affordable apartments.

Smith Hill Community Development Corporation
Smith Hill Community Development Corporation (CDC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing safe, affordable housing. Smith Hill CDC offers home ownership and rental opportunities in the Smith Hill and Wanskuck neighborhoods of Providence, Rhode Island.
Since its incorporation over 175 rental, homeowner, condominium, and landlord units have been established. Additionally, it is the first CDC in Rhode Island to offer Permanent Supportive Housing for survivors of domestic violence.
As well as housing development and management, the Smith Hill CDC offers resident services, community garden beautification, youth programming, and neighborhood events.
