Serves over 13,500 girls and 3,100 adults annually. Girl Scouting helps cultivate values, social conscience and self-esteem in girls, while also teaching them critical life skills that will enable them to succeed as adults. In Girl Scouting, and its special girl only environment, girls discover the fun, friendship and power of girls together. The program is delivered through troops comprised of five age levels: Daisy, 5-6 years old; Brownie, 6-8 years; Junior, 8-11 years old; Cadette, 11-14 years old and Senior, 14-17 years old. Individual memberships are available for girls who cannot attend regular troop meetings. A summer camp program is conducted at six camps throughout the council's area. Bilingual Hispanic staff.
This is the hub of the Council. There is a shop inside where you can buy uniforms, accessories and gifts etc for your Girl Scout at reasonable prices. You can also get questions answered at the front desk. Anything more than that is best to call or email to make an appointment first.
