To Adopt: Fill out a Pet Adoption Agreement at the shelter, rabies vaccination is required within fourteen (14) days, agree to have the animal spayed or neutered within thirty (30) days. (Per state law).
Fees
Adoption Fees: Cats $95, Male Dogs $125, Female Dogs $150.
Vaccinations:$10 Cash only

The Smithfield Police Department is currently comprised of 41 sworn police officers and 19 civilians, a total complement of 60 employees.
