Description

Located at Chopmist Hill Inn the Scituate Senior Center promotes healthy aging, independence and the well-being of older adults through health, wellness, educational, cultural, and recreational programs and services. Lunch is served Monday through Friday. Reservations must be called in one week advance to reserve your order. The suggested donation for lunch is $3 for members and $4 for non-member diners. Guests are always welcome. Fitness classes include Chair Yoga, Zumba, Line Dancing, Bone Builders, and Meditation. All are easily modified for all ability levels. They provide on site educational presentations, craft sessions (card making, painting and more) shopping trips, haircuts and manicures and musical sessions. They are open to all Scituate and non-Scituate residents. Scituate Food Pantry - is located at the Senior Center and is available by appointment by calling 401-647-2768 or 401-228-5979. Heating Assistance - is also available by calling 401-647-2768 or 401-228-5979.
