Eligibility

Must receive any of these benefits: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Supplemental Social Security (SSI), Section 8, Veterans Pension/Survivor Benefits, Tribally Administered Temporary Financial Assistance (Tribal TANF), Tribal Head Start (income qualifying), Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) May also qualify if total household income is at or under 135% FPL.

Description

Lifeline is a government benefit program supported by the federal Universal Service Fund. Enrollment is available to individuals who qualify based on federal or state-specific eligibility criteria. It is available for only one wireless or wireline per household. Eligible applicants can receive a Free Smart Phone with $25 activation fee, 500 free monthly minutes, unlimited Text Messages and 3GB free data.
