Services include: support services to HIV infected individuals and their families, AIDS education, prevention and advocacy, mental health counseling for individuals, couples and families, Stop AIDS Youth Hotline, Wellness program, nutrition, cooking classes for people with HIV/AIDS, case management and referral assistance. (No fee for service). Cobra health benefits extension program. Dental services. Financial assistance for emergency situations for people with AIDS/HIV. APRI provides the most services for people living with HIV/AIDS in Rhode Island, including advocacy, case management, free and anonymous rapid HIV, hepatitis C and syphilis testing, early intervention services, mental health counseling, housing advocacy, community health education, nutritional support, emergency financial assistance, dental program, legal assistance for living wills and end-of-life care, and the Afia Center for Health and Wellness.
