The City of Providence’s Department of Parks work to coordinate sustainable system in which all residents have access to fully programmed, fully operational, and well-maintained parks, facilities and programs that meet both current and future parks and recreation needs. Under Mayor Jorge Elorza, these programs have significantly increased with an emphasis on robust and accessible programming as well as leading the revitalization of park spaces in our communities.
