The library, whose main doorway mirrors the Athens Erechtheum with its six marble panels that depict Egyptian, Greek, Judaic, Roman, Anglo-Saxon and Teutonic civilizations, provides books, periodicals, pamphlets; audio and video cassettes, dvds; microfilm and micro-fiche; large print books for readers with low vision; materials in Spanish, Portuguese, Polish. Historic Preservation collection, ESL collection and classes, Bookmobile. Programming for children, teens and adults. Introductory computer classes and free Internet access.
