Description

The Blackstone Valley Advocacy Center has been providing services to victims of domestic violence in the Blackstone Valley area for over three decades. It is their voices, their struggles and their experiences which guide our work. They're a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence and to provide education and awareness on the issue of domestic violence. Outgoing calls have no Caller ID, outgoing calls blocked for your safety. Services: Case Management Crisis Intervention Domestic violence support and education Mental health/substance abuse support Housing referrals Transitional housing Vocation/Education/Employment referrals Budgeting Referrals are made according to need of shelter guest Spanish speaking staff available Important Policies: Curfew: 8:00PM unless employment is verified Drug/Alcohol free environment Children must be supervised at all times Toiletries and clothing can be provided to shelter guests as needed and are limited No transportation available Non-smoking facility
