Fees
Varies. Most services are free, some have a small fee associated. Low vision services are covered by most major health insurance companies including Medicare, Medicaid, Neighborhood Health Plan, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and United Healthcare. Patients are responsible for any co-payments associated with their plan.

Description
Provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to adults who are blind or severely visually impaired, through a center-based program, regional satellites, or community services. Included are daily living skills training, orientation and mobility, counseling, diabetic program, summer camp, low vision services, workshop training and employment, a closed circuit radio information service, volunteer services, speakers bureau, tapes, Braille material, aids and appliances. Sponsors support groups throughout the state. Income Source: Donations; corporations; foundations; grants; endowment; United Way (associate member)
