Application process

Print and fill out the particpant forms available online and mail them to the post office box. Gaits of Harmony will call to schedule an evaluation to discover which program best suits the needs of the participant.

Description

Gaits of Harmony serves clients ranging in age from three into their senior years who have disabilities such as autism, traumatic brain injury, anxiety, Down syndrome, seizure disorders, ADD, ADHD, and cerebral palsy. Beautiful 300 acre facility offers a large indoor arena, 10-stall barn, and acres of fields and trails. Gaits has 10 program horses, a therapy pig, and goats to provide incredible support needed for all of its riders. Through the values of excellence, respect, and shared purpose, Gaits of Harmony provides educational opportunities for riders, families/cargivers, staff, instructors, and community to better understand and ensure it is reaching the highest quality of Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT) Therapeutic Programs include: Therapeutic Riding, Therapeutic Horsemanship, Hippotherapy, Interactive Vaulting Gaits of Harmony will also provide educational opportunities for the community, staff, volunteers, and families of participants: Professional development opportunities are a variety of educational workshops to help PATH Intl members and/or the community at large expand their knowledge, learn new skills, stay up-to-date on industry practices and prepare for instructor certifications.
