Children from birth to age five from families with low income, according to the Poverty Guidelines published by the Federal government, are eligible for Head Start and Early Head Start services. Community-based training for refugees and immigrants providing education and comprehensive services to empower individuals and families of diverse cultures as they move toward self-sufficiency. Basic ESL classes, general orientation, surviving/coping skills, consumer math, typing and computer skills program, literacy and child care services. Referrals to other agencies and programs.
