Description

Governor Henry Lippitt House Museum is an Italianate mansion Victoria house museum and home of two Rhode Island governors. Superb interior; decorative details from the Victorian era. Built circa 1865, this mansion has been described by the New York Times as "one of the most complete, authentic and intact Victorian houses in the country". Tours: Guided tours start on the hour at 12:00PM, 1:00PM, 2:00PM, and 3:00PM. Guided tours last 45 minutes.
