The Benjamin Church Senior Center in Bristol, RI, provides programs and activities that support the independence, health and well-being of active adults aged 50 and older. They provide weekday daily lunched for $3. Call 401-253-8458 by 11 am to make a reservation for the following day. Senior Bus Services are also available weekdays. Members receive free transportation to the grocery store, pharmacy, bank, post office, doctor medical appointments (in Bristol and Warren) and to attend activities at the Senior Center. Resources can connect you to the Foster Grandparents Program, Retired Senior Volunteer Program, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, the Bristol Housing Authority, Office of Healthy Aging, Senior Services, Meals on Wheels and more.
