Description

Parents as Teachers supports families by: connecting you with other families with young children' connecting families to resources and supports such as childcare, healthcare and basic needs; providing fun healthy activities to do with your children to support growth and development; and supporting family goals. Parent Educators listen and respond to family needs and link families with supports such as medical homes to ensure children are receiving well-child visits and health screenings, community resources and social supports, and other families with young children. These free services are provided to pregnant women and parents with children up to age 4 (though select programs serve children up to age 5).
