Social and Human Services Department, located at Beechwood, can address the social and human service needs of all North Kingstown residents, regardless of age. Whether you are an older adult or under age 55, the Department will confidentially discuss your individual circumstances and either assist directly or refer you to other providers in the community. Provides programs and supportive services in the areas of education, creative arts, advocacy, health, nutrition, recreation. Transportation and social services are open to North Kingstown residents only; Center activities are open to anyone 55 or older. Seabreeze Lunch: Hot lunch served daily at noon for persons 60 years of age and older. Persons may also participate if they are under 60 if married to a individual over 60. Persons may also attend if they are disabled and under 60. Guests may attend who are under 60 years for the full price of $5.00. Beechwood Cafe: Flexible Dining options served daily offering a variety of salads, sandwiches, fresh fruit, yogurt and desserts. The Cafe menu is designed for people 'on the go' who are unable to sit for an hour and enjoy the full hot lunch at noon.
