Blackstone Valley Community health Care (BVCHC) has established a program that reduces fees charged to patients based on their income and family size. The categories used are based on percentages of “Poverty Level” as annually determined by the federal government. Qualifying patients will pay a nominal fee if they qualify for 100% of poverty. Patients between 101% and 200% will pay an amount depending on their family size and percentage of poverty. Every program has requirements and BVCHC’s Sliding Fee Program is no different.

THE SCITUATE ANIMAL SHELTER is a municipal facility under the supervision of Scituate Animal Control, a division of the Scituate, Rhode Island Police Department. They take in animals from Scituate and Foster and provide care until we can find good homes for them. They also socialize all cats and dogs who need such work in order to be ready for life in a home and with a family.
