The East Bay Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) Program helps Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries prevent, detect, and report health care fraud. SMP not only protects seniors, it also helps to preserve the integrity of the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Senior Medicare Patrol staff and volunteers work with beneficiaries to: -Review their Medicare Summary Notices for accuracy -Protect their identity -Identify and report errors on their health care bills -Identify deceptive health care practices, such as illegal marketing, providing unnecessary or inappropriate services, and charging for services that were not provided -SMP also conducts informational sessions for seniors about avoiding Medicare and Medicaid scams.

In addition, SWAP offers a seven week Home Buyer Education Program which teaches potential home owners of all income levels what it takes to buy a home. SWAP also runs Home Owners Classes designed to teach home owners what repairs need to be made to their homes, the best time and way to make them and how to make them on a tight budget. The AmeriCorps Seniors East Bay Retired, and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is designed for individuals 55 years and older who want to contribute their skills, talent, and time to impact and improve conditions in their communities. RSVP is a network of community members volunteering in many programs and non-profits in the East Bay area. Volunteers are provided educational opportunities through our partnerships for unique service positions. The Cumberland Fire Department provides emergency services to the Town of Cumberland. The department operates out of 4 stations located strategically throughout the town. Located in the north-west portion of the town, station 4 houses Engine co. 4. The station also houses a reserve pumper, rescue Boat 4 and mobile air supply unit. All administrative offices are located here.

Residential school for boys, grades seven through twelve. Offering a full high school diploma, the school is licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) and accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). In addition, we offer a certified special education program and career/technical education programming. Our student body is comprised of Ocean Tides residential students and students referred by their school district for education purposes (both regular and special education). Each candidate is screened by the Director of Special Education and the Principal before admittance to ensure the student is ready and willing to enter the program. Given the severe educational difficulties these students have experienced in the past, Ocean Tides seeks to provide creative, individualized programs that meet the needs of all in our care. As part of their housing first approach, their goal is to help people move out of emergency shelter and into stable housing as quickly as possible. Their emergency shelters are low-barrier and housing focused. Shelters 41 women in 10 shared bedrooms, one wheelchair-accessible bedroom, a common space and outdoor patio.
