Provide support and training to deaf individuals with diverse disabilities. The philosophy of our program is to provide social, habilitation and employment services to deaf people with diverse disabilities and others with unique communication needs in an independence and empowerment-based model that facilitates living, learning and working successfully as integrated members of the community. If hospitalization is necessary, it will be provided under a transfer agreement with South County, Newport, Rhode Island, Roger Williams, Kent, Fatima, and Westerly Hospitals. All other instate or out of state Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities and Home Care Agencies may be used as deemed appropriate.
