KIDSNET To ensure that all children in Rhode Island are as healthy as possible by getting the right health screenings and preventive care at the right time. Provide a secure database for critical information about children's health. Facilitate the collection and appropriate sharing of health data with for the provision of timely and appropriate preventive health services and follow-up. ACOS is Rhode Island's largest provider of high-quality services for adults, children and families infected with or affected by HIV or AIDS. Provides a broad range of services including housing resources, counseling, rapid HIV testing, (anonymous/confidential) Hepatitis testing and vaccinations, case management, advocacy and community outreach programs focusing on prevention and wellness. Residential Program (Available for Adult Males Only). Bridgemark's residential treatment program for adult males is based on an individualized length of stay. We modify treatment for each client according to their history with this disease. Our progressive system takes clients through four levels of recovery over the course of their stay. CharterCARE visiting nurse service is unique in that the clinical staff practices primary nursing. They will systematically assess, plan, deliver, and continually evaluate an individualized plan of care for each patient. Skilled Care: Clinical staff provides skilled training in the use, care and management of various medical devices including; G-tubes, J-tubes and foley catheters. We provide training in and assistance with injection therapy, oxygen therapy, ostomy care, tracheostomy care, the administration of insulin for diabetics, medication management, disease management and wound care. Advance Wound Care Every one of our nurses has been trained and is proficient in performing negative pressure wound therapy, a state of the art technology proven to significantly reduce healing time for chronic wounds. (ie: Wound Vac, Renosys and Engenex). Telemonitoring Our telemonitoring program is an adjunct to nursing visits and physician care. Upon the physician order, equipment is installed in the home for the patient. The equipment allows the patient to take daily measurements of weight, blood pressure, pulse and oxygen saturation. Results are monitored daily by an RN. Nutritional Services CharterCARE Home Health utilizes registered dieticians (RDs), food and nutrition experts who have met American Dietetic Association (ADA) criteria to earn the RD credential. RDs are available to assess a patient's nutritional needs, develop and implement nutrition programs, and evaluate and report the results.

Overnight shelter, dental services, food pantry, clothing room, and meal programs. **Overnight Shelter Provides emergency, overnight shelter for 75 to 90 homeless men and 15 to 30 homeless women, seven nights a week. Each overnight guest has the ability to take a hot shower, eat a hot dinner, sleep in a clean bed, and have breakfast in the morning. **Food & Clothing We operate an emergency food pantry and a clothing room. Individuals and families use these services on a daily basis. We distribute approximately 16,000 lbs. of food and 5,000 articles of clothing each month. **Meal Programs Our meal programs provide approximately 6,000 hot meals a month to the needy in our community as well as 1,700 box lunches to the children. In addition to our feeding ministry, we do special events during the holidays. This past Thanksgiving we provided Thanksgiving food boxes for 1,600 families in the Providence area. Each box contained 20 pounds of non-perishable food and a 20 pound turkey. At Christmastime, we provided 9,300 gifts to over 3,100 needy families through our Christmas Toy Ministry. **Dental Offices In a phrase - state-of-the-art. The Providence Rescue Mission features a full service dental office that helps Individuals start a new life with a smile they can proud of. Our office features x-ray, full cleaning, and other dental services. Local dentists and staff see patients by appointment only. **Discipleship Program We run a one-year discipleship program that allows 10 to 15 homeless men with, but not limited to, substance abuse issues to start a new life by combining biblical values, counseling, education and career training and reunification with their families. This program is at capacity most of the time.
