The Movement Disorders Program at Butler Hospital specializes in caring for patients with Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, gait disorders, tremors, drug-induced movement disorders, ataxias, dystonias, and other movement disorders. They provide diagnosis and comprehensive medical management of movement disorders. They offer innovative treatments such as deep brain stimulation (DBS) and botulinum toxin.

Chariho’s RYSE School Clinical Day Program is an integrated, comprehensive school program for at-risk youth and their families. Through a unique partnership with Community and School Support Services, Inc. RYSE provides comprehensive educational and wrap-around mental health services to middle and high school students.

The East Bay Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) Program helps Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries prevent, detect, and report health care fraud. SMP not only protects seniors, it also helps to preserve the integrity of the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Senior Medicare Patrol staff and volunteers work with beneficiaries to: -Review their Medicare Summary Notices for accuracy -Protect their identity -Identify and report errors on their health care bills -Identify deceptive health care practices, such as illegal marketing, providing unnecessary or inappropriate services, and charging for services that were not provided -SMP also conducts informational sessions for seniors about avoiding Medicare and Medicaid scams.

This program offers the caregivers to navigate everyday stresses involved in caring for a loved one. These services often are sought during transitional situations, crisis situations and in situations where the caregiver needs education and support to take better care of themselves. They offer information, resources, and strategies specific to caring for someone who may have a disability or other health concerns related to aging.

RITAP is a collaborative effort of the Rhode Island Department of Education, Office of Special Populations and Rhode Island College. It provides practitioners, parents, and policymakers the knowledge and resources necessary to increase their capacity to provide comprehensive and coordinated services to all children including those with disabilities that result in improved educational performance and enhanced life-long outcomes. Easterseals RI provides exceptional services to ensure that children and young adults with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities. Provides EI & Pediatric (ages 3-21), Outpatient OT & PT.

The rapid hepatitis C tests provide results in approximately 20 minutes. All tests are done with a simple finger prick that collects a drop of blood. (An oral swab test may be available. If you elect to use an oral swab test, it is recommended you do not eat, brush your teeth, or floss for 30 minutes prior to the test.)
