Important Policies: Location of shelter is confidential, residents are expected to maintain confidentiality: Maximum of 2 nights out/month, except in emergencies; No time limit as long as working on goals of permanent housing and following all shelter rules; Residents are responsible for their own medications, lockers are available; residents will have to lock up medications. Smoking allowed in designated outdoor areas;
A harm reduction model is used-sobriety is not required, however residents are expected to respect peers in recovery; Bedrooms and common areas are shared; There may be a possibility teenage boys are housed
***Financial assistance, including rent and utilities, to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking who are fleeing abusive situations, at risk of becoming homeless or at risk of returning to their abuser as a result of COVID-19. Supportive services will also be provided, including expanded hotline hours, more clinical support, additional advocacy services and assistance with basic needs such as food and transportation.
