Staff assists residents with coordination of services and encourage participation in various activities in the local area. Evergreen is staffed with dually-licensed Nursing Assistants and Medication Aides. A Registered Nurse meets monthly with residents to evaluate healthcare needed and coordinate service planning. The Victim Services Unit provides an array of services to felony crime victims and their families and informs victims of their rights as guaranteed under the Rhode Island Constitution and the Victim's Bill of Rights. Also lead the way in environmental enforcements, promote open and transparent government, Stan up for Rhode Island workers, engage with communities, community violence intervention Advocates are assigned to victims and their families to provide guidance and support through the criminal justice process - informing them of their rights, notifying them of the status of the offender’s case, providing personal assistance at court appearances and helping them better understand and participate in the legal process. In addition, the Unit provides referrals to other victim-service provider agencies and support groups that can further assist victims with financial, legal, medical and emotional problems resulting from the crime. Unit advocates also assist prosecutors with all victim-related matters.

Provides hospitality and direct services to the homeless and poor of Rhode Island. Offers Transitional Housing Program for men and women who are homeless and looking to achieve sobriety. Permanent supportive housing includes five rooming houses (35 rooms) and 22 apartments. First priority is given to graduates of the 90-Day Transitional Housing Program. Residents live in a clean and sober community and continue to benefit from Amos House programs and services. Registered Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site: Staff of tax preparers are IRS trained, tested, and certified to help people who qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit program receive the tax credits they deserve. THIS IS A FREE SERVICE. You must bring a copy of your previous year's return, all financial statements pertaining to tax year, your social security card, and a picture ID. Employment Training Programs including: culinary arts, carpentry and literacy training programs. Blackstone Valley Community health Care (BVCHC) has established a program that reduces fees charged to patients based on their income and family size. The categories used are based on percentages of “Poverty Level” as annually determined by the federal government. Qualifying patients will pay a nominal fee if they qualify for 100% of poverty. Patients between 101% and 200% will pay an amount depending on their family size and percentage of poverty. Every program has requirements and BVCHC’s Sliding Fee Program is no different.
