The Cranston Fire Department manages the Emergency Management Agency. The Cranston EMA is responsible for emergency planning, operating shelters, planning evacuation routes and managing the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).

A 265-acre property, a house built in 1796, which today is a working family farm. They start with the philosophy that each individual at RHDRI is focused on finding a role in their community that is meaningful, supported and positive for both the individual client and the community at large. Resources for Human Development-RI helps adults with developmental disabilities reach their goals. With a strong focus on the arts, RHD works with its Participants to develop new skills, become more integrated in the local community and explore a variety of employment opportunities. RHD also contracts directly with a number of school departments around the state to provide supports for students too young for adult services.

PASA's mission is to expand and improve after-school opportunities for the youth of Providence by organizing a system to ensure all youth access to high-quality after-school programs and learning opportunities. Students who are Providence residents and earn digital badges will be extended an offer of a summer job for the summer of 2018 through Workforce Solutions – an office of the City of Providence. A variety of summer youth employment opportunities are made available each year through Workforce Solutions to over 500 Providence youth. With this badge youth will qualify to be first in line for one of several career–oriented positions offered by a host of exciting community organizations and businesses. Students who earn badges and are not Providence residents will receive a recommendation letter from the City of Providence for summer employment through their local workforce board.

During this crucial stage of a child’s growth and development, the Seven Hills EI professionals work with families as a team to help them help their children where they learn best: at home and in community settings. Seven Hills EI program partners each family with a Service Coordinator who works with a team to assess the child’s development based on medical history, observation of the child performing a daily routine, and learning about the child’s likes, dislikes, successes, and difficulties. If the child is eligible for EI, the team will work with the family to develop an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), to develop priorities, goals and outcomes. The Seven Hills professionals make it as convenient as possible for families to schedule their EI visits in the child’s natural environment—at home, in a child care setting, or during a community activity. The family’s multidisciplinary EI team may include educators, therapists, social workers, and nutritionists. Parent Consultants (PCs)—parents whose children have been through the EI program—are also available to share resources, offer support, and facilitate networking.

A federally licensed non-profit organization dedicated to serving the Rhode Island community with blood and blood components. The General Nathanael Greene Homestead is a National Historic Landmark located in Coventry, Rhode Island. Known as Spell Hall, it was the home of Revolutionary War General Nathanael Greene from 1770 to 1783, and was owned afterwards by his brother Jacob Greene and his wife Margaret. The house is owned and operated by the General Nathanael Greene Homestead Association, a non-profit organization, and was opened as a museum.
