The Victim Services Unit provides an array of services to felony crime victims and their families and informs victims of their rights as guaranteed under the Rhode Island Constitution and the Victim's Bill of Rights. Also lead the way in environmental enforcements, promote open and transparent government, Stan up for Rhode Island workers, engage with communities, community violence intervention Advocates are assigned to victims and their families to provide guidance and support through the criminal justice process - informing them of their rights, notifying them of the status of the offender’s case, providing personal assistance at court appearances and helping them better understand and participate in the legal process. In addition, the Unit provides referrals to other victim-service provider agencies and support groups that can further assist victims with financial, legal, medical and emotional problems resulting from the crime. Unit advocates also assist prosecutors with all victim-related matters.

Member of the Assistive Technology Access Partnership: Device demonstration, device loan, device re-use; training, public awareness, collaboration, information and referral. Provides demonstrations, training, and long-term loan and device reutilization services of specialized telephone equipment to qualified individuals who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, have a speech disability, or have neuromuscular damage or disease, which hinders them from using a standard telephone. Child Student service- provides assistive technology evaluations, consultations and trainings for children and students from Early Intervention (birth to 3) through grade 12 (or the age of 21). They provide consultation services and training to educational team members and families to insure that they are able to support students fully in school, the community and at home. Adult Services- offers a variety of services for adults, including Evaluations (Augmentative Communication, Assistive Technology, Workplace Accommodations, Computer Access, and evaluations for individuals with Low Vision; Consultations; Training; Therapy (AAC and AT); and Tech Support. Services can occur in the individual's home or workplace or here at our center.

13 room home for community based program is located on the periphery of Pawtucket's business district. The primary objective is to provide residential services for adolescent males. As members of the community, the residents are afforded the opportunity to participate in a variety of educational, recreational and cultural programs. All residents attend school locally with staff providing supplementary and remedial academic assistance. The program provides a clinican licensed at the independent level which may include a licensed psychologist, a licensed mental health professional, a licensed independent social worker or a licensed marriage and family therapist. The clinician will have weekly individual and group contact with each resident and provide consultation to staff, DCYF caseworkers and the resident's parent or guardian. Family therapy will also be provided when appropriate. The clinician will also provide consultation with other mental health professionals, school personnel and assist with crisis intervention while making appropriate treatment referrals.
