Omni Point Apartments consists two buildings with a mix of 2 and 3 bedroom family housing. Omni Point offers 51 units of housing to the Providence area. All apartments are designated for low-to-moderate income families.

Community Care Alliance strives to empower people experiencing economic insecurity, mental illness and addiction, housing issues, and trauma-related concerns. They provide clinical and support services for individuals and families with long-term needs associated with mental illness and substance abuse. Their goal is to help people live as independently and as fully integrated within the community as possible These might include basic needs assistance to address emergencies— counseling, treatment, support services and residential programs for individuals and families impacted by serious mental illness and addiction— emergency and supportive housing to prevent homelessness and promote stabilization— alternative education and services for families with young children and adolescents— and employment, financial literacy and vocational training to improve self-sufficiency.

Thanksgiving Meal 2018:

Residential program for men and women in need of support to overcome the effects of substance abuse, unemployment or other challenges. This program is donation based. Income not required and no one is billed for services. Services include: Sober Living Skills Counseling Peer Support Reintegration into Community Work Preparedness Faith based, residential program for men and women

Services: Offers a variety of educational and support services to Rhode Island's foster family community. Life skills program for adolescents, mentoring programs for foster parents, Real Connections mentoring program for youth in transition from state care (community and relative care based); holiday gift distribution. Publishes a monthly newsletter. Income source: State contract, private foundations and donations

Long-term nursing at The Cove at Grace Barker is available for those who can no longer live safely in their own home, need medical management for chronic health conditions, and/or help with their activities of daily living.

Nothing specifically for people with diabetes or who are home-bound. Grocery delivery Perishable and Non-perishable food items.

Preventive dental care (such as brushing and diet/nutrition recommendations); regular cleaning and fluoride treatments; and use of sealants to prevent cavities. Dr. Paquin also may: Provide mouth guards (to prevent sports injuries) Provide or recommend special preventive care to safeguard against problems, such as teething and gum disease Offer habit counseling (e.g., thumb sucking, pacifier use) Offer assessment and treatment for teeth straightening and improper bite in the young child (orthodontics) Repair tooth cavities and/or defects Diagnose oral conditions associated with diseases such as diabetes, congenital heart defects, asthma and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder Diagnose and treat dental developmental difficulties (e.g., root canals on adult teeth that have not fully formed) Provide management of gum diseases and conditions, such as pediatric periodontal disease, ulcers and tongue-tie (when the membrane that attaches the tongue to the floor of the mouth is shorter than normal. If tongue-tie interferes with breastfeeding, a Dr. Paquin can clip the membrane to release the tongue) Care for dental injuries (e.g., fractured or knocked-out teeth)

Coventry Animal Shelter is run by Coventry Police Department's Animal Control. Animal Control rescues strays and abandoned animals, and attempts to return them to their owners or find them homes.

FOOD/HOT MEALS In their fight against hunger and food insecurity, they provide thousands of meals annually through a great team of volunteers in four primary communities: Woonsocket, Pawtucket, Providence, and West Warwick. They serve healthy fresh meals to those in need. They go beyond handing out care packages by serving hot meals to the homeless. At their weekly food services, their volunteers provide a valuable human interaction and guidance to available programs to those in need. In addition, we may deliver food to those who cannot reach their food distribution locations. Hospital charity care requirements cover those essential services necessary to diagnose, correct, or cure a medical condition that endangers life, causes pain and suffering, results in illness or infirmity, or causes a physical deformity or malfunction. Both inpatient and outpatient services are included. To receive full charity care, patients annual family income must be up to and including 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. For partial charity care, patients annual family income must be between 200% and 300% of the Federal Poverty Level may receive assistance based on a sliding scale. In addition to income, hospitals have the option to consider other assets. Also must be denied from Medicaid first depending on income. Patients who get accepted will receive financial aid for a year. For patients who feel that an application or appeal was wrongfully denied should call the RI Dept. of Health info line 222-5960.
