Corporate Angel Network is the only charitable organization whose sole mission is to fly cancer patients (both children and adults) to treatment at no cost to them on empty seats on both private and corporate planes. This not only improves the patients' chances of survival, but, it also reduces their emotional stress, physical discomfort, and financial burden.

Provides advocacy in court for the best interests of children who are the victims of abuse and/or neglect and are therefore involved with the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) and the Rhode Island Family Court. Staff includes attorney, guardians ad litem and Social Caseworkers. Program also trains volunteers to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates.

Sakonnet Bay's Clare Bridge Alzheimer’s and dementia care program focuses on sustaining feelings of belonging, purpose and safety while seeking to preserve a sense of self. Providing residents with a structured routine of activities that help maintain their abilities and encourage the use of their current skills. Brookdale Sakonnet Bay is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC), bringing together on a single campus independent, assisted, memory care, and skilled nursing facilities, allowing for a smooth transition when a residents needs a change in level of care. Amenities/Services include: Emergency Response in Each Room, Concierge Service, Beauty/Barber Shop, Fitness Center, Gardening/Greenhouse, Indoor Pool, Pub/Sports Bar, Walking Paths, Game Room, Billiards, Parking - Surface, Private Dining Room, Hot Tub, Piano, Therapy Pool, Chapel, Guest Suite(s), Keypad Entry, Meeting Rooms, Landscaped Grounds

A 265-acre property, a house built in 1796, which today is a working family farm. During open hours, take a self-guided walking tour, participate in an outdoor workshop, explore farm fields with grazing livestock, stroll along the shore, and view seasonal farm activities. Using innovative sustainable practices, the managers of Watson Farm continue the tradition of pastoral husbandry, grazing Heritage Red Devon cattle and sheep on the scenic seaside pastures. The farmers produce 100% grass-fed beef and lamb and wool blankets for local markets. The house, still used as the farmers’ residence, is not open to the public.

Rhode Island's Statewide Self-Advocacy organization. Works to help people understand information more clearly, learn about rights, participate in their communities and share their unique gifts with the rest of society. Also works to raise public awareness about disabilities. Activities include:

• Hosting an annual statewide Self-Advocacy

conference. Approximately 430 people attend.

• Hosting an annual Statewide Self-Advocacy Town Hall style meeting. Approximately 300 people attend.
• Designing/Adapting accessible materials in a variety of formats to help people understand issues related to Self-Advocacy.
• Coordinating a year-long Leadership Series training for individuals who have a Developmental Disability, families and direct support staff.
• Bringing disability awareness experiences to schools, colleges, businesses, support agencies and others.

Angels On Horseback Therapeutic Riding School, Inc. provides equine assisted therapy to children and adults with mentally and physically challenging conditions. The offer an 10 or 12 week session lesson program. Angels On Horseback is also the home of Cavalry Heroes. This program provides equine facilitated therapy for Rhode Island military veterans with conditions such as PTSD and other emotional as well as physical, challenges. The goal is to improve the lives of individuals suffering from a variety of conditions. Experience has shown us, in many instances, that this unique therapy, when used in conjunction with more traditional medical treatments,

The mission of the Rhode Island Contractors' Registration and Licensing Board is to safeguard the consumers rights related to contracted improvements to residential property, while providing a fair and positive environment for the construction industry. The CRLB is an agency within the Department of Business Regulation’s, Division of Building, Design, and Fire Professionals. It is responsible for administrating and enforcing the registration and licensing requirements of certain contractors, and protecting the public by investigating complaints by homeowners and issuing fines and penalties for violations of the general laws, rules, and regulations.

Lockwood Plaza Apartments, is subsidized housing featuring one, two, three and four bedroom apartments. Lockwood Plaza Apartments participates in the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program.

Emergency Shelter: 4 bedrooms, for 9 to 11 people. One handicapped accessible room. Services available: referrals to educational, vocational, and employment resources, individual meetings with advocates to establish goals for victims and their children; Weekly support groups both in-house and community based; HIV testing. Residents are responsible for their own family's food:kitchen and storage space is provided. Food assistance available if needed. Important Policies: Location of shelter is confidential, residents are expected to maintain confidentiality: Maximum of 2 nights out/month, except in emergencies; No time limit as long as working on goals of permanent housing and following all shelter rules; Residents are responsible for their own medications, lockers are available; residents will have to lock up medications. Smoking allowed in designated outdoor areas; A harm reduction model is used-sobriety is not required, however residents are expected to respect peers in recovery; Bedrooms and common areas are shared; There may be a possibility teenage boys are housed ***Financial assistance, including rent and utilities, to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking who are fleeing abusive situations, at risk of becoming homeless or at risk of returning to their abuser as a result of COVID-19. Supportive services will also be provided, including expanded hotline hours, more clinical support, additional advocacy services and assistance with basic needs such as food and transportation.

Saint Elizabeth Manor is a skilled nursing and rehab center in Bristol and has a long history of providing quality care in the East Bay. With 133 beds, Saint Elizabeth Manor provides short term rehab, long-term care, specialized memory care, and hospice care.

Pemberton Place is subsidized 62+, handicapped or disabled housing through Jamestown Housing Authority.

Hospital charity care requirements cover those essential services necessary to diagnose, correct, or cure a medical condition that endangers life, causes pain and suffering, results in illness or infirmity, or causes a physical deformity or malfunction. Both inpatient and outpatient services are included. To receive full charity care, patients annual family income must be up to and including 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. For partial charity care, patients annual family income must be between 200% and 300% of the Federal Poverty Level may receive assistance based on a sliding scale. In addition to income, hospitals have the option to consider other assets. Also must be denied from Medicaid first depending on income. Mother of Hope Camp provides young people of all faiths and backgrounds with the opportunity to grow physically, socially, and spiritually in a Catholic Christian community under the guidance of a trained and caring staff. We offer a broad range of recreational, educational, and spiritual activities. Through our various camp programs and the experience of nature, participants learn ways to build relationships of love and justice with God, others, and all of God's creation.

Sparrows Point III Apartments-a project based Section 8 Development designed for the Elderly (62 years of age and older) and/or person with disabilities under 62 years of age. The community consists of (176 apts.) 157 one bedroom and 19 two bedroom apartments and is smoke free.

Provides counseling for individuals and families for adoption, anxiety or fears, attention deficit (ADHD), child or adolescent, depression, divorce, life coaching, loss or grief, obsessive-compulsive (OCD), oppositional defiance, parenting, peer relationships, self esteem, sleep or insomnia, teen violence, trauma and PTSD, and impulse control and mood disorders. Sessions are 50 minutes and can be scheduled weekly, biweekly or monthly.
