Programs that pick up and impound or return to their owners domestic animals who have strayed from their homes. Also included are programs that enforce leash laws and animal sanitation ordinances and those that handle complaints regarding domestic animals who have bitten someone or are otherwise making nuisances of themselves. Most animal control programs are unable to handle nuisance wildlife unless the animal is sick or shows symptoms of rabies.

Group psychotherapy practice specializing in cognitive-behavioral therapy, an active and goal-oriented approach to treatment. The therapists create an extremely supportive relationship and help individuals to understand and change links between problematic thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Therapists help couples work through issues including communication, sex, and affairs.

Vocational counseling will help you to better understand your potential, to rely on your abilities, to set realistic vocational goals, to change them when necessary, to develop successful work habits, and to begin a satisfying career. After applying for vocational rehabilitation services and being determined eligible, the eligible individual with a disability and a Qualified Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor will work together to develop an employment plan called the Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE). The Employment Plan considers the individual's unique strengths, resources, priorities, concerns, skills, abilities, preferences, capabilities, interests, and values, as well as the barriers to employment. The Employment Plan identifies the employment goal that the individual has chosen, the time it is expected to reach the goal, the services that the individual chooses as necessary to reach the employment goal, and how the services will be provided. Some of the services may be provided directly by the VR Counselor, others may be available through other public sources such as netWORKri (One Stop Career Centers), and others may be purchased with funds provided by the VR agency. The individual may develop the Employment Plan with the assistance of the VR Counselor, another individual, or by him or herself. The VR Counselor is always available to provide assistance in this process. A Qualified Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor who works for the public VR program must approve the Employment Plan before any services are provided through the VR agency. The partnership between each individual with a disability and their Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor is a key component in the Vocational Rehabilitation process.

Garden City Treatment Center treats all acute urgent and non-urgent medical, gynecological, surgical and orthopedic conditions for adults and children. The medical facility is fully equipped with laboratory services, a physical therapy facility and has entirely operational X-Ray rooms located within the treatment center. Able to provide easy access to MRI, CTSCAN, and Ultrasound. Life-threatening emergencies (such as severe trauma, automobile accident victims, etc.) are encouraged to go directly to a hospital emergency room where full back-up services (such as blood banks and operating rooms) are readily available. Garden City Treatment Center is the only privately owned, free standing emergency room licensed by the State of Rhode Island. Intensive Outpatient Program The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at CODAC is an ideal opportunity for those individuals who find they have a need for increased access to support and treatment. IOP is approximately 8 weeks, and consists of individual and group sessions totaling a minimum 9 hours per week. IOPs may be utilized at any point along the treatment or recovery cycle and based on level of therapeutic need. If you are interested in this level of care speak with your CODAC provider. General Outpatient Services General Outpatient Programs are for individuals interested in treatment for Substance Use Disorder symptoms. General Outpatient programs utilize scheduled individual and group counseling sessions and drug/alcohol testing to assist patients in identifying and maintaining healthy life choices. CODAC counselors also work with the patient to integrate recovery support services in their treatment. We will to continue working with patients who have met their initial goals and want to maintain and strengthen their recovery. CODAC counselors work closely with their patients to achieve individual goals and/or meet the requirements of the referring authority. Most importantly, our programs are designed to assist individuals to develop and integrate a recovery oriented lifestyle that includes family, friends, health, wellness, joy and productivity. All CODAC programs emphasize the value recovery oriented lifestyle benefits and encouraged strongly encourage the integration of family members into the treatment and recovery process.

A one-year, intensive training program that provides urban young adults, ages 18-24, with a combination of hands-on skill development, an educational stipend, and corporate apprenticeships. During the first six months of the program, participants focus on skill mastery in Desktop Support / IT Help Desk; and the professional skills required in today's workplace such as effective communication, leadership, and teamwork. During the second six months of the program, students are placed in apprenticeships with local partner companies. A stipend is provided to all participants throughout the one-year, full-time educational program. In addition, Year Up students have an opportunity to earn up to 18 college credits through articulation agreements with NEIT and J&W University.

A Batterers Intervention Program is a psycho-educational group led by trained professional facilitators. Each meeting is an hour and a half to two hours long, and meetings are held every week for a minimum of 20 weeks. Fees are collected, but programs can make accommodations as needed. Ask your parole officer or program staff about available options. Participants are held accountable for their attendance, must be on time, and cannot miss a meeting. Address issues of: victimization and perpetuation of abuse, substance use, mental health, domestic violence, anger management and trauma. Individuals are referred by the court and legal entities

A forty foot long dental office on wheels that was donated by Ronald Mac Donald House to East Bay Community Action Program and two other partnering agencies - Thundermist Health Centers and Comprehensive Community Action Program. Services eligible to children that attend participating schools, Head Starts and community programs. Blackstone Valley Community health Care (BVCHC) has established a program that reduces fees charged to patients based on their income and family size. The categories used are based on percentages of “Poverty Level” as annually determined by the federal government. Qualifying patients will pay a nominal fee if they qualify for 100% of poverty. Patients between 101% and 200% will pay an amount depending on their family size and percentage of poverty. Every program has requirements and BVCHC’s Sliding Fee Program is no different.
