Programs that provide protection and care for unwanted pets or stray animals, and hold them for a specified period of time to provide an opportunity for owners to claim them prior to offering them for adoption. Included are shelters that euthanize the animals if not adopted within a specified amount of time, as well as "no kill" shelters that will keep the animals until they are adopted.

Burrillville Animal Control Shelter returns stray animals to their owners, places unclaimed animals in homes, enforces local animal control ordinances and state animal care regulations, educates and provides referrals to the public, and assists residents in advertising pets needing new homes via the internet.

Dementia and Alzheimer's Services provides compassionate support for those who are caring for a loved one with dementia. They provide information, education and support for individuals with these diseases, along with the families and professionals who care for them.

Assisted Daily Living, Inc. provides clients with a wide array of services designed to ensure superior patient care in the familiar comfort of home, often providing a happier and more affordable alternative to nursing, or assisted living facilities. Services can be arranged for a few hours a week or around the clock. ADL begins by reviewing the specific needs of the client through discussions with family members, as well as the care recipient's doctor, social workers or therapists. A customized program of care is developed to manage the client's daily needs. ADL will match the clients needs to the best possible caregiver, based on both professional experience and on ability characteristics. THERAPIST'S - PT, OT, ST: Therapists including physical therapists, occupational and speech therapists assist in the rehabilitation of those with physical injuries or disease. Restoration of mobility, strength, dexterity, balance and communication skills is often the purpose for therapy. Helping individuals who are disabled by physical injuries or disease to regain maximum function with activities of daily living is always a main priority.

Blackstone Valley Assisted Living Specializes in intermediate care which is for those who don't need full-time care, but need a helping hand every now and then. Offers daily meal service, support sessions and independent living options to ensure all residents needs will be met.

Describe as Memory Support because Anchor Bay is intentionally shifting away from outdated Dementia care practices and into a hospitality model. Staff recognizes that each person is unique in their life history as well as their Dementia journey. They understand the importance of a scheduled rhythm to each day. Team members are encouraged to slow down and embrace the impromptu moments that happen as well. We find it’s the spontaneous moments have high impact for both the care giver and the care receiver. Living In The Moment is the greatest gift we can give to anyone we serve during their journey.
