A division of Thrive Behavioral Health, Kent County Housing Services assists individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, rent burdened clients of Thrive, and Rhode Island residents who are disabled. This program provides services to extremely low-income disabled individuals and families throughout Rhode Island. The Ballou Home for the Aged is a 43 bed not-for-profit skilled nursing facility located in Woonsocket, RI. We provide Long term care and post acute hospital care to individuals who require skilled nursing and/or rehabilitative services.

The Center for Workforce & Community Education offers ESL classes designed to give students an understanding of the basics of the English language. The goal of the program is to help speakers of other languages achieve a level of English proficiency which will enable them to function better in everyday living, enter a job training program, improve performance at a job site, and/or pursue further education.
