This is a support group for people dealing with alcoholism. Meetings are held throughout the state to help those in recovery. Recovery follows a 12 step format and sponsors within the program provide support. It's a community of people who share their experience, strength an hope each other to recover from alcoholics.

The WIC coordinator provides nutrition education and counseling to all program participants on a monthly basis.

Founded in 2017, the Westerly Education Center is a public-private collaboration designed to bring together higher education, business, industry, and community partners to provide high-quality educational programs to meet projected workforce growth in the region. WEC delivers high-quality educational classes to meet projected workforce growth in the region. All Rhode Island public higher education institutions (University of Rhode Island, Community College of Rhode Island, and Rhode Island College), the Office of the Postsecondary Commissioner, and the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training are partners in the effort to provide workforce training and improved regional access to curricula offerings. The center is available for any business wishing to rent classrooms or the multi-use room for training sessions, meetings, webinars and more. If desired, businesses can opt to engage with the center’s higher education partners to develop customized courses. Whether training new hires or offering professional development for current staff, the center is ideal for off-site programming.
