Intensive Outpatient Program
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at CODAC is an ideal opportunity for those individuals who find they have a need for increased access to support and treatment. IOP is approximately 8 weeks, and consists of individual and group sessions totaling a minimum 9 hours per week. IOPs may be utilized at any point along the treatment or recovery cycle and based on level of therapeutic need. If you are interested in this level of care speak with your CODAC provider.
General Outpatient Services
General Outpatient Programs are for individuals interested in treatment for Substance Use Disorder symptoms. General Outpatient programs utilize scheduled individual and group counseling sessions and drug/alcohol testing to assist patients in identifying and maintaining healthy life choices. CODAC counselors also work with the patient to integrate recovery support services in their treatment. We will to continue working with patients who have met their initial goals and want to maintain and strengthen their recovery.
CODAC counselors work closely with their patients to achieve individual goals and/or meet the requirements of the referring authority. Most importantly, our programs are designed to assist individuals to develop and integrate a recovery oriented lifestyle that includes family, friends, health, wellness, joy and productivity. All CODAC programs emphasize the value recovery oriented lifestyle benefits and encouraged strongly encourage the integration of family members into the treatment and recovery process.

The UCP Rhode Island Children & Family Services program provides services to children with disabilities and their families under Rhode Island's Home Based Therapeutic Services Program (HBTS). Medicaid eligible children (up to age 21) are provided comprehensive periodic evaluations to supplement the treatment of various medical conditions. Works with families to develop service plans for their children and assists the families to secure HBTS funding. Once a plan is approved, UCPRI provides case management and services, therapies, and training for the child and family.
The object is to apply individualized services that permit the child to live at home and take an active part in school and community. UCPRI�s services may help relieve some of the financial strains that make raising a child with disabilities so stressful to both the family and child.

The Ocean Tides School Providence Campus is an alternative day school for students in grades seven through twelve. Offering a full high school Rhode Island Regents diploma, the school is licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) and accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Additionally, the Providence Campus offers a certified special education program and a career/technical education program. The student body at the Providence Campus is comprised of students referred by their school district for educational purposes (both regular and special education) and career/technical training. Each candidate is screened by the Director of Special Education and the Principal before admittance to ensure the student is ready and willing to enter the program.
Given the severe educational difficulties these students have experienced in the past, Ocean Tides seeks to provide creative, individualized programs that meet the needs of all students.
Students are involved in areas such as: Culinary Arts, Carpentry/Woodworking, Landscape Design, Engineering, and Technology. Ocean Tides is partnered with the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) for the areas of Engineering and Technology.

Acute Stabilization Unit
The ASU, as we call it, provides short term, residential services for the person who is having a mental health and/or substance abuse emergency, but who does not need hospitalization. Referrals are made through our Emergency Services Team, hospitals and other sources.
Intensive Outpatient Program
Successful independence is the goal of our recovery-focused Intensive Outpatient Program for those with co-occurring disorders. You’ll get care and guidance from our skilled counselors in a safe, supportive setting. Opioid Treatment Center of Excellence
We believe that treatment works. Meet with a Peer Specialist who will walk you through the steps to getting help with opioid addiction.
Outpatient Counseling Services
Counseling is provided in an office-setting for addictions, including problem gambling. DUI Court Ordered Treatment is also available through our Outpatient Counseling program.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Our new Rise to Recovery PHP program helps individuals and family members recover from the negative consequences and life issues associated with substance use and addiction.
Residential Substance Use Treatment
Treatment and around-the-clock support provides men with the opportunity to focus on their recovery from chemical dependency. Our supportive services can become a part of your safety net after discharge as well.
Recovery Housing
Sober housing and support services are available who have recently completed a residential treatment program to help them along the road to recovery.

Located on the first floor of the Cranston Senior Enrichment Center, the Arlington Branch, formerly named both the Arlington Library and the Arlington Reading Room, was initially founded in the neighborhood district hall with a collection of 500 volumes. Currently, the branch is a popular stop for both pedestrians in the Arlington neighborhood and those visiting the Senior Enrichment Center.
The branch was dedicated to the memory of former library trustee Edward Costa in 2018 and renamed the Edward Costa Memorial Arlington Branch.
